SPRING EVENTS 2010

Annual Exhibition – Dr William MacLean – a forgotten collector, his sites and finds.
Free admission during normal museum opening hours.

Dr MacLean was a local antiquarian and collector who also carried out excavations, one of which was at a cave near Rosemarkie. The exhibition will feature the best and most locally relevant objects from his collection on loan from the National Museum of Scotland.

Ancient Technology Demonstration
Renowned experts Val and John Lord will demonstrate how tools of flint, bone and antler were made in prehistoric times.

From 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

By Gordon Memorial Hall, Rosemarkie, weather permitting, otherwise at St. Andrew’s Hall , Fortrose.
